Welcome to worship today! It's Baptism of the Lord Sunday and we are excited to share our new Baptismal Font with you. During service today we will listen to Luke 3: 15-23 and hear about Jesus's baptism. Rev. Dr. Jo Ann Schaadt will provide us a message about Baptismal Identity.

Advent is a time to prepare for the arrival of the Jesus. But what does it mean to prepare? Is it enough to wait for the arrival of a precious baby in a manager or should we be preparing for something else entirely? Our message today was delivered by a guest, Rev. Phyllis Mueller. During this past Thanksgiving week folks came together for a common cause. For some it was a Thanksgiving feast, for others it was to support a football team they love dearly. During these interactions some participants had differing views and maybe even differing core values. How do we put aside those ideas and sometimes even our values, to see the commonality between us?
